Longstanding Konecranes Lifttruck customer Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority [GPHA] have added 3 x SMV16-1200C 16 tonne forklifts to their existing fleet of Konecranes reachstackers, empty container handlers and heavy forklifts for use in conventional cargo handling in Tema Port.
As with much of the Konecranes fleet the machines are equipped with Konecranes Truconnect remote monitoring service. GPHA have also further enhanced their fleet of mobile cranes with the acquisition of 3 x RT530E-2 rough terrain cranes. 2 units are destined for the fishing harbour in Tema Port with a third to be used for general lifting activities including in and around a dry dock.
Hull Blyth Ghana Limited have added a further Konecranes Empty Container Handler to their fleet. The SMV6/7ECC90 is working in an Inland Container Depot in Tema Port. Tema Bonded Terminal have added a Konecranes Liftace TFC45R to their fleet in Tema Port.
APMT Mauritania have added an additional Konecranes Reachstacker to their existing fleet. The new machine, a Truconnect equipped model SMV4532TC5 is working in their terminal in Nouakchott.
Kribi Multipurpose Terminal in Kribi Port, Cameroon have opened their new concession with the acquisition of 2 x YT220 Terberg Tractors and 1 x SMV32-1200C Konecranes heavy forklift.
