Four new Konecranes Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) Cranes were successfully delivered to Conakry Terminal, a subsidiary of Bolloré Ports, on 2 November 2021.
The RTGs were signed off on the 8th November 2021 and the commissioning and delivery was completed by the Paterson Simons and Konecranes teams.

These next-generation 2021 16WA Konecranes RTG cranes (40.6T and 40LT) were added to Conakry’s existing fleet of 8 RTGs, now making a total of 12.
The RTGs have a lifting capacity of 40 tons each and specialise in handling containers in port terminals.

The RTGs real-time GPS positioning system, and their manoeuvrability and speed, allow efficiency in the availability of import containers and will increase storage capacity and delivery rates at Conakry Terminal.
