FRANNA AT22 COMMISSIONED TO LARGE MINING CUSTOMER IN GHANA

In Mining, News, News Snippets by Alisa Evans

Paterson Simons, supplied, commissioned and handed over a Franna AT22 to a large mining customer in Ghana.

The Franna AT22 is a mid-sized, mobile pick and carry crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 22t and a maximum main boom length of 19.9m.  Franna’s patented Dynamic LMI system is designed to offer ‘real-time’ calculation of rated capacity taking into account boom configuration, as well as chassis articulation, pitch and roll, enabling continual assessment of structural limitations, forward stability, and side stability.

The AT22 is a good choice for customers who cover a wide range of applications and will work well for this customer on their mine site.

The Franna AT22 joins the fleet of equipment previously supplied to this longstanding mining customer in Ghana.

This machine was commissioned by Paterson Simons subsidiary Pasico Ghana Ltd, who have had a maintenance contract on this mining customer’s existing fleet of lifting equipment, for over 6 years. The fleet includes Konecranes, Manitou and JCB industrial forklifts, and Manitowoc Grove All Terrain and Yard cranes.
