This solution automatically prevents intoxicated drivers from operating any lift truck or machine and can be retrofitted to any Konecranes lift truck.
The alcolock consists of a hand unit and a control unit. The hand unit analyses the alcohol level in the driver’s breath, and if it is above accepted limits the machine will not start.
With a compact design, it takes up minimum cabin space; it’s approved for use between -45° up to +85° C; it has an instant start-up which avoids extra idling times; it’s biodegradable and with changeable nozzles for hygiene; it records and store test results following local regulations.
