John joined Paterson Simons in an Export Sales role and immediately settled into the role bringing his analytical and IT skills to bear. John was appointed Managing Director in 2012 and continues to run the UK operations, which now includes an office in Scotland and he assists with the various Paterson Simons subsidiaries.
His leadership and passion for the job have created a very knowledgeable and efficient team around him, dealing in a very niche market with customers based in West Africa. He has been a frequent traveller into and through West Africa, an area of which he has become very fond.
He has been integral to the growth of the group, his knowledge of the machines that we have license to deal in is unsurpassed and he is extremely well respected by both the manufacturers and customers at the highest levels. With his “my door is always open” policy John remains approachable to all Group staff and is always keen to provide training and guidance where needed.
