In February, Paterson Simons conducted Manitou Factory training for operators from Cocoa Marketing Company Ghana LTD (CMC) in Ancenis, France.

This training precedes the delivery of 22 x Manitou ME450 5t Electric Forklifts to CMC, scheduled for April this year. These forklifts will expand CMC’s existing fleet of equipment, supporting its status as the world’s largest single Seller and Exporter of premium cocoa from origin.

The Manitou ME 450 5t Electric forklift truck boasts a lifting capacity of up to 5000 kg and meets the current requirements of all industrial markets with its electric-motor-driven design. Featuring a maximum lifting height of 6 meters, 80-volt high autonomy battery, ergonomic driver’s cab, and outstanding performance, these forklift trucks enhance various storage and handling operations, optimizing work and improving company productivity.

Aside from the Forklift training, the team enjoyed an insightful visit to the Manitou factory, witnessing firsthand how the machines are constructed from the ground up.

They also had the privilege of meeting Mr. Marcel Braud, the founder of Manitou.

Our congratulations to the trainees:

  • Albert Agbesie
  • Carlos Awunba Azieko
  • Isaac Boateng
  • Alban Venyellu

And a heartfelt thank you to Morad & Abdellatif from the Manitou team for their valuable contribution to this successful session!
