The Paterson Simons team, dedicated to the Newmont Ahafo South contract were honoured as Safety Champions for the month of November 2023.
The evaluation criteria for this award included:
- Housekeeping
- Critical Control Verification (CCV), which encompasses:
-Ensuring the completion of the Risk Assessment before job execution.
-Understanding the task and associated risks.
-Implementation of control measures to eliminate work hazards.
-Proper execution of Lockout & Tagout procedures before job commencement.
