Milestone for Terberg Tractors in Ghana

On June 13, 2013 Pasico (the Ghana subsidiary of Paterson Simons) formally handed over 15 Terberg YT222 terminal tractors to APM Terminals in Tema, Ghana. At the handing over ceremony Mr. Kwaku Okoh, Managing Director of Pasico Ghana presented Mr. George Adjei, Managing Director of APM Terminals, Ghana, with a letter from Mr. George Terberg CEO of Terberg in the Netherlands. In the letter Mr Terberg acknowledged that the delivery was “a great milestone for Terberg in Ghana” and congratulated Mr. Adjei on buying a top quality product with world-class after sales support.

In his response Mr Adjei stated that the procurement of the equipment is in line with the company’s growth agenda which has seen an investment in capacity expansion totalling some USD 20 million. The capacity expansion programme covers a state-of-the-art off-dock container terminal, container handlers and a fleet of container haulage trucks.
