Determining the overall boom and jib length combination is now as simple as opening up Manitowoc’s recently launched smartphone app for iOS and Android.
The Manitowoc Boom Length Selector App allows you to select specific boom and jib length combinations, building heights, boom radii and other crane parameters using an easy sliding scale to determine the basic crane setup for a specific lift. Manitowoc is the first manufacturer in the crane industry to release a smartphone app of this kind. The app currently has a five-star rating on Google Play.
The app is available now for free in both the App Store (Apple) and Google Play Store (Android) by searching for “Manitowoc Boom Length Selector.”
