CIT Inspectors and Trainers pass bi-yearly CICB training with flying colours.

CIT has a long standing agreement in place with CICB of the US and part of this is that we receive certified training and refresher courses in Ghana every 2 years using an American trainer.

Jerry Longtin, who has done all previous training, joined us in Takoradi, Ghana for two weeks in May.

The extenive training included:

  • OSHA, ANSI/ASME, BSI 7121 and Loler 1998 Working at Heights Initial Train the Trainer (4 attendees),
  • Mobile Crane/Rigging Inspector Refresher (3),
  • Mobile Crane/Rigging Initial Inspector Training (1),
  • Mobile Crane/Critical Lift, and Rigger Train the Trainer Refresher for (3)
  • MC Critical Lift, Rigger Initial Train the Trainer Training for (1),
  • Tower and Overhead Crane Initial Inspector (2),
  • Tower Crane and Overhead Crane/Hoist Initial Train the Trainer (2),
  • FLT/RS Inspector Refresher (3),
  • FLT/RS Inspector Initial (1),
  • MEWP Inspector Refresher (3),
  • MEWP Inspector Initial (1),
  • FLT/RS and MEWP Train the Trainer Refresher Training for (3)
  • FLT/RS and MEWP Initial TTT for (1) attendee
