In December, Paterson Simons Group Technical Director James Savoy and Service Manager Brendon Goldswain successfully completed advanced installation and maintenance certification at the Fogmaker Training Academy in Växjö.
Delivered by senior trainer Martin Lindblom, the programme combined in-depth theoretical instruction with hands-on practical training, covering system installation, risk assessment, system build, servicing and fault-finding.
This enhanced capability strengthens Paterson Simons ability to deliver efficient on-site risk assessments, precise installations, improved diagnostics and high-quality maintenance across customer fleets – supporting increased equipment uptime, reduced fire-related risk and long-term asset protection.
Fogmaker is a global leader in automatic fire suppression systems, specialising in protecting heavy-duty and high-risk equipment in demanding industrial environments. The Fogmaker system is designed for vehicles, machines, and other enclosed spaces, and works with high-pressure water-based mist that chokes a fire and cools the area to prevent re-ignition. The system attacks all three sides of the fire triangle through displacing oxygen, cooling the heat, and smothering the fuel.
With a strong focus on safety, technical excellence and long-term customer support, Paterson Simons continues to invest in specialist training and OEM partnerships to deliver trusted solutions across West and Central Africa!
