Ahmed Fekry from Paterson Simons recently attended an action-filled technical visit to the Stinis factory in Johor, Malaysia (27 Oct – 7 Nov), where he spent two weeks diving deep into the latest Stinis technology, upgrades and production techniques.
A FRONT-ROW SEAT TO STINIS ENGINEERING
Ahmed had the chance to move across the entire operation – Production, Technical, Design, Sales and Finance – getting a 360° view of how Stinis equipment is designed, built and tested.
His visit covered a wide range of equipment and updates, including:
- MHC spreaders
- STS spreaders

RTG Spreaders

Over Height Spreaders (OHS)
- Lifting beams & safety equipment
Classroom sessions were immediately followed by real-life factory walkthroughs, seeing each model on the assembly line and in testing. This mix of theory + live demonstration made for powerful learning.

Stinis provided a full suite of technical documents to support knowledge sharing back at Paterson Simons – ensuring the entire team benefits from the visit.
Ahmed also noted the outstanding hospitality shown throughout his stay, including local tours of Johor, Desaru and Singapore generously hosted by Stinis colleagues.
