PATERSON SIMONS CONDUCTS MANITOWOC TRAINING FOR GHANA PORTS AND HARBOURS AUTHORITY IN ITALY

Paterson Simons recently delivered a comprehensive programme of theoretical and practical Manitowoc training in Niella, Italy for Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) and Pasico Ghana (our subsidiary).

The training focused on the Manitowoc RT530E-2 Rough Terrain crane and was designed to strengthen operational capability, technical understanding and safety awareness across both operator and technical roles.

The programme combined structured classroom sessions with hands-on practical exercises to ensure participants could directly apply the knowledge gained.

By blending theory with practice, the training reinforced international safety standards while also addressing real-world operational challenges faced in port and industrial environments.

The initiative forms part of Paterson Simons ongoing commitment to supporting customers beyond equipment supply, ensuring that teams are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to operate and maintain their machines safely, efficiently and reliably.

The successful delivery of the training in Niella further reflects the strong collaboration between Paterson Simons and GPHA and highlights the value of continued investment in technical development and people-focused support within the heavy lifting and port operations sectors.

Congratulations to all participants and special thank you to trainer Mirco Minoccheri!
