Manitou hosted its annual MEA Dealer Conference 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa from 11-12 February, welcoming dealers from across Africa and the Middle East for two days of collaboration, strategy and shared insight.
The conference brought together Manitou partners from across the region to review performance, explore market developments and align on the opportunities and challenges shaping 2026.
Discussions focused on strengthening dealer networks, enhancing after-sales support, and continuing to deliver reliable, high-performance equipment across demanding industries including mining, construction and logistics. Manitou also encouraged open dialogue with dealers, actively asking how the company could be easier to work with and how collaboration across the network could be further improved.
A key highlight of the event was the recognition of dealer achievements across the region. We are proud to announce that we received the award for Best Mining Machine Sales in West Africa for 2025 – a testament to the dedication, teamwork and strong customer partnerships built throughout the year.
This achievement reflects the commitment of our teams across West Africa, who continue to support customers with robust equipment solutions tailored to challenging operating environments.
