L\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, la direction a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de remplacer un pont roulant de 32 tonnes \u00e2g\u00e9 de 20 ans., fabriqu\u00e9 par Philadelphia Tramrail en 1997. Ils ont pris contact avec Pasico, la filiale ghan\u00e9enne de Paterson Simons.<\/p>\n<p>En avpril 2017, les ing\u00e9nieurs en pont roulant de Pasico ont r\u00e9alis\u00e9 l\u2019installation d\u2019un pont roulant de 62 tonnes \u00e0 double poutre \u00e0 la centrale thermique d\u2019Aboaze, dans l\u2019Ouest du Ghana. Cette installation \u00e9tait devenue indispensable car la capacit\u00e9 maximale du pont \u00e9tait n\u00e9cessaire afin de pouvoir r\u00e9aliser une maintenance urgence de turbines.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1507\" src=\"https:\/\/www.patersonsimons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/content_20170414_151847_resized.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.patersonsimons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/content_20170414_151847_resized.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.patersonsimons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/content_20170414_151847_resized-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.patersonsimons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/content_20170414_151847_resized-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.patersonsimons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/content_20170414_151847_resized-500x281.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.patersonsimons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/content_20170414_151847_resized-100x56.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 767px) 95vw, (max-width: 979px) 80vw, 1200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Le projet incluait \u00e9galement le retrait de l\u2019ancien pont roulant et des rails. De nouveaux rails ont \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9s et soud\u00e9s avant l\u2019installation du nouveau pont. Le pont a \u00e9t\u00e9 scind\u00e9 en plusieurs parties afin d\u2019en faciliter le transport depuis l\u2019usine Konecranes bas\u00e9e en Afrique du Sud (une op\u00e9ration courante pour les ponts et grues de grandes dimensions) puis assembl\u00e9 sur site par l\u2019\u00e9quipe de Pasico avant d\u2019\u00eatre \u00e9lectrifi\u00e9 et test\u00e9.
